// Thriving STG strengthens senior management team //
Increasing sales of STG’s market-leading SafTGlo, and growing interest in its Wireless Emergency Primary Power System (WEPPS), has prompted the restructure.
After four years as Sales Director in our UK office, responsible for territories outside US, Doug Nowinski will return to North America as President of STG Aerospace, Inc. He will oversee the company’s operations in US and Canada and manage the sales agency in South America. Ian McCutcheon, former European Head of Sales, has been promoted to Head of Sales for the rest of the world. STG will now recruit to fill the European sales position.
Increasing WEPPS sales has led to a greater focus on operations and quality at STG, and Ben Brown, currently a senior manager, has accepted the role of Quality and Operations Director. Ben will take a key role in ensuring the quality and operation integrity of both STG and STG Inc.
Chief Executive Peter Stokes said: “In a recession customers are realising the benefits of investing in long-term, cost-cutting and reliable solutions. The sales increases we’ve seen as a result have led us to strengthen and build our sales team and we’re delighted to be able to promote internally as well as recruit to do this.”
