// Webjet makes fleetwide SafTGlo order //

STG Aerospace has received a fleet-wide order from Webjet Linhas AƩreas for its market-leading SafTGlophotoluminescent (PL) floorpath marking system.

WebJet has ordered SafTGlo SuperSeal kits, in yellow, for all of its Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The low-cost airline, based in Rio de Janeiro, was founded in 2005 and is now ranked third among Brazilian airlines.

SafTGlo PL floorpath marking systems ‘store’ and simultaneously emit light giving highly visible emergency exit guidance for up to 16 hours in darkness, after a short period of ‘charging’ with normal cabin lighting. The system uses STG’s patented, and unlicensed, SuperSeal™ technology, which needs virtually no maintenance, saving airlines valuable time and money.

Carlos Passos, STG's representative in Brazil said: "For a low-cost operator SafTGlo is a 'win-win' solution. It means less maintenance and increased reliability, so it can reduce costs by thousands of dollars on each aircraft on which it is installed. Webjet is a growing airline and is looking to secure advantage wherever it can. SafTGlo will help them achieve that edge."
