STG Aerospace to receive fourth Queen's Award.

STG Aerospace learned that it was to receive its fourth Queen’s Award for Enterprise in April this year. Following a reception at Buckingham Palace in July, we will now be welcoming the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, Richard Jewson, and the Deputy Lieutenant to our offices in Swaffham, on 25th September, for a formal presentation of the award.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are granted in recognition of outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of Innovation, International Trade and Sustainable Development. Our 2014 award was made in the International Trade category in acknowledgement of our sustained growth in overseas earnings.

On the day, the Lord-Lieutenant and a Deputy Lieutenant will be taken on a tour of the STG Aerospace facility before moving on to the Ecotech Centre where the Queen’s Award citation will be read and the crystal award presented to Chief Executive, Nigel Duncan.
