Nigel Duncan, the CEO of leading aircraft cabin lighting company, STG Aerospace will be attending Future Travel Experience Europe 2016 (FTE Europe 2016) in Amsterdam on 25th and 26th April.

This unique, boutique event focuses specifically on the end-to-end passenger experience. Two carefully curated and dynamic conference streams will run in parallel, covering passenger experience innovation both “On the Ground” and “Up in the Air”.

FTE Europe aims to bring together over 450 influential experts and keynote speakers from industry, technology and academia to showcase developments, discuss issues and form networks that will ensure the future of the travel industry.

Commenting on the forthcoming event, Nigel Duncan, CEO of STG Aerospace commented:

“I am looking forward to attending this year’s FTE Europe and hearing from travel industry stakeholders about their latest plans to improve the passenger experience - an area that STG Aerospace focuses on with our own cabin lighting products. As an example, last month STG Aerospace announced how we have re-defined standards in passenger privacy, comfort and visual experience with the launch of our new highly innovative liTeMood® LED reading light.

“FTE Europe provides STG Aerospace with the perfect opportunity to meet with airlines, OEMs, cabin designers and suppliers to hear about their latest on-board innovations and their views on which direction the in-flight passenger experience will take in the future. FTE Europe will address a number of areas that the STG Aerospace R&D team is constantly working on - such as how will new and emerging technologies impact airlines and passengers and how industry should go about developing onboard experiences to satisfy the demands of future passengers.”

Key aspects of FTE Europe 2016 for STG Aerospace include the 'up in the Air' Conference, which returns for its second year to complete the event's focus on the end-to-end travel experience. Speakers and conference delegates will discuss the latest onboard innovations and define the future direction of the in-flight passenger experience. Topics covered will include next-generation connectivity, cabin design, passenger comfort, crew empowerment and actual industry collaboration, rather than just discussion.
