STG Aerospace celebrates with Boeing on first flight of the 737 MAX 8

STG Aerospace is a Tier 1 supplier to Boeing and has been supplying its saf-Tglo® photoluminescent floor path marking system to the Boeing 737 production line since 2000.The 737 MAX will feature STG Aerospace’s next generation SuperSeal Ultra Lite® (SSUL), the lightest, narrowest and highest performing photoluminescent system available.

The 737 MAX will deliver higher efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort, along with lower fuel consumption and is the first member of Boeing’s new family to begin flight testing.  Boeing has already secured 3,072 orders from 62 customers across its three variants.  Delivery of the first 737 MAX is scheduled for the third quarter of 2017.
