STG Aerospace to contribute to major conference on the aviation industry supply chain
Attracting equipment manufacturers, material suppliers, aviation analysts, financial institutions and marketing executives, this 30th anniversary event will address some of the key issues facing the industry, including the global economy and its influence on aviation; the OEM perspective on production rates, supplier relations and the competitive landscape; and the challenging decade ahead for Tier 1 suppliers.
For STG Aerospace, a pioneering force in innovative lighting technologies for aircraft interiors and a Tier 1 supplier to the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, the event offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the discussion around how the aviation industry supply chain can best serve the needs of both OEMs and airlines into the future.
Having had a US base for nearly 20 years, STG Aerospace opened a new, larger US manufacturing and warehousing facility in Miami last year in response to growing demand throughout the Americas. Located adjacent to the Miami International Airport runway, the new building is more than double the space of the company’s previous US premises and enables the company to serve customers more quickly and more efficiently whilst at the same time as ensuring that the latest STG Aerospace product innovations can be manufactured in the US as well as the UK.
STG Aerospace products are currently installed on over 10,000 aircraft worldwide - representing one third of the world’s passenger fleet - and the current product range includes saf-Tglo®, the pioneering and market-leading photoluminescent emergency floor path system; saf-Tsign®, the leading brand of photoluminescent emergency and informational signage developed for commercial and military fixed-wing and rotary aircraft; and liTeMood®, a plug-and-play programmable LED cabin lighting system designed specifically to retrofit commercial aircraft cabins.
The company is also currently developing a number of new products which will complement its holistic cabin lighting vision and are scheduled for launch in the early summer.
